There are lots of beautiful save the date cards on the market, but have you thought about making your own (with help, perhaps, a professional photographer)? The Kelty talent Steep Street in Portland took these wedding dresses sell photos of Jeff and Stacey Sweet "take the plunge." I have no water from the nose, so I do not know what I attempt to replicate these stunning photos (which you can see more here) but they are a very punny oooh jumping point if you are thinking of buy dresses a couple to do something unusual for their participation portraits or save the date cards.
Or do you think this kind of thing is a bit too "oh em gee, look how wonderful we are"?
